The Liberty Group’s institutional products division encompasses supply of edible oil, fats, and foodstuffs to institutional clients. This includes both bulk and branded trade. Our clients include large scale industry such as Parle, Britannia, ITC and Himalaya Drug Company; hotels such as the Taj Group, Oberoi Group, ITC, Marriott; restaurant chains and a robust network of standalone restaurants; government institutions, canteens and a large portfolio of valued small-scale buyers.
In addition to pure cooking use, our products are used by the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic industries. We also cater to the frozen desserts market, with special formulations of vegetable fats and edible oils geared towards producing these lovely treats. Other specialty products include cocoa butter substitutes and emulsifiers.
In addition to some of our consumer brands which are repurposed for institutional use, we have a portfolio of institution-specific brands such as Fryday, Sheel, KoolKing, Butler, Sensus and Palmo.
